MOVIES-001 is the beginning of a new series and a milestone for women wrestling on the web. Published in 2005, it set a new standard of Video on Demand downloads on the Internet, thanks to faster download speeds. The FOM series (Fight of the Month) were running since 1998: a single match was published every month and it was made available for download to Web Club members. Starting with MOVIES-001 customers were able to select and purchase any video from the huge DWW catalog, competing with the most popular video format at that time: DVDs shipped by mail !
